PROPHETIC WORDS TO BRISTO

A few years ago Val Kincaid gave two prophecies concerning Bristo. The first was given to the church when she and her husband Jim visited Bristo on 28 September, 2003. The second was given to the Bristo minister, Rev. Jim Purves, at the united evening service at Granton Baptist Church on 29 February, 2004, when Val gave a series of prophecies. These prophecies were given to the ministers of each church represented and were for the upbuilding and encouragement of each pastor and church.

A transcript of the first message (which was taped) and a précis of the second are given below. Bristo folk should seek to prayerfully and discursively weigh and assess these as legitimate prophecies, asking whether they might be of the Lord and, if so, what response we might consider making. Emphasis should be upon verifying, by prayerful and Biblical means, that there is something here for us.

The Lord gave me a word for the church and I would like to share it with you. I hope it’s not too shocking, it’s not too frightening, and I hope it doesn’t disquieten you in any way.

I was looking at this back window of the church and I had this strong sense that something very powerful is going to burst through this window. It was not going to be like gentle rays of the sun. It was going to be like a fire-ball was going to come bursting through this window. It was a visitation which would be sudden, dramatic, it would fill this church; the light would fill this church. There’s a manifestation of God’s glory coming into this church. It’s not going to be nice and gentle. It’s just going to come bursting into this church; just like when the disciples received the Holy Spirit, it wasn’t a gentle quiet experience.

And I felt the Lord’s very active in how he’s going to form the future of this church, and I saw him shaking nations, and dropping people into your lap like fruit; shaking ripe fruit and letting it drop into your lap. This church is going to have a lot of people from other lands; it will have many people from other lands, and they’re going to share your inheritance. They’re going to share something of what this church represents, what this church stands for, what this church has in its history, which is of the Holy Spirit; and they’re going to enjoy and share this inheritance with you as a people.

And I felt the contributions into this church are going to increase. All sorts of increases of contribution: life, talent, gifts, tithing, financing. There’s going to be an increase of contribution into the church.

Then you’re going to hear words. You’re going to hear some wonderful words. You’re going to hear the words of people saying “make room for us” and you’re going to hear the words “we’re filled and we’re satisfied”. You’re going to hear words, “once I was sick, now I am healed”. You are going to hear the words “once I was hopeless, now I have a future”, and you’re going to hear the words “I was a rebel, an absolute rebel, full of perversity, and now I am walking in a straight line”. These will be some of the things that the church will hear people say. You will know that you are a blessed people. So that’s good news. So be ready. -- Val Kincaid

God will do an alien work in your Church: something that’s going to be quite different.

God will bring people to you even though you may think that your church is not situated in a good place.

He will bring young people and people in addiction; and their fetters will fall off.

You will see amazing and strange things because of your faithfulness and prayers for the kingdom. -- Val Kincaid
